After completion of preliminary screening, a boy seeking to enter The Boy’s Town will undergo a non-formal education combined with a training in a preferred vocation through a regimental timetable where recreational and ‘own’ time is also included with three home vacations of one week in the year. The Training period is approximately four years ending in December each year. New residents are programmed to get exposed to a variety of vocations that follow a yearly curriculum that is affiliated to government technical Institutions. Training is conducted by qualified Instructors in their particular vocations.
